Accessibility Statement
A transfer desk is only useful if everyone can read it. This statement describes the accessibility measures built into signalcuriohb.surf and how to report a barrier.
1. Our aim
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines across all pages of this site. Accessibility is treated as part of the editorial build, not an afterthought.
2. Structure and semantics
Pages use semantic HTML landmarks: a single main region, clear header and footer, labelled navigation, and one descriptive H1 per page followed by an ordered heading hierarchy. Transfer dossiers use article elements, and the log uses ordered lists so screen reader users hear position and count.
3. Keyboard support
Every interactive control — navigation links, board tabs, methodology accordions, log filters, cookie buttons and form fields — is reachable and operable with a keyboard. Board tabs support arrow-key movement, and a visible focus outline is kept on all focusable elements. A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
4. Colour and contrast
The palette is built from white, pale green tints and deep forest green at contrast levels chosen for readability. Status is never signalled by colour alone: every chip also carries its written label, such as "confirmed" or "rumored".
5. Motion
Reveal animations and the confirmed-deals ticker are subtle by design. If your system requests reduced motion, animation is disabled and the ticker becomes static, with no loss of content.
6. Text and zoom
Type is set in relative units so it scales with browser settings. Layouts reflow at 1200px, 768px and 480px breakpoints and remain usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
7. Images and icons
The site uses no photography. Decorative marks, arrows and timeline dots are hidden from assistive technology, and transfer direction is also expressed in text so a route is never conveyed by a symbol alone.
8. Known limitations
The dense desktop dashboard grid is information-heavy by nature; on narrow screens it stacks into a single-column transfer feed, which lengthens pages. We consider this the better trade-off for readability and continue to review it.
